An independent check, every month
A second, automated look at your Italian company’s invoices, tax payments and returns.
Tax documents pass through many hands, from the company to the accountant’s office, from the software to the Agenzia delle Entrate itself, and at every step a figure can fail to match. Every month FiscalPulse rereads the documents in your company’s Cassetto Fiscale, its tax drawer at the Agenzia, and flags what falls outside the normal pattern: an out-of-scale invoice, a purchase split across several invoices, a payment that does not match the return, a withholding certified and never paid.

03It compares returns and payments.
VAT declared in the LIPE (the quarterly VAT return) is compared with the F24 payments made (the form for Italian taxes and contributions) and with the period’s invoices.

Withholdings certified to employees are compared with the Modello 770 withholding return and the F24 payments. Credits used are compared with the Agenzia’s register.

04It tells you, and says where each number comes from.
Out-of-scale invoices reach you by email.

Gaps between returns and payments appear in the month’s report. Every value carries its source mark (declared, from F24 or estimated), and every report passes an automated quality check before it reaches you.
01It learns your usual level of spending.
From the supplier invoices of recent months the report works out how much you usually spend, by supplier and by category.

That is the yardstick for every new invoice.
02It looks at every invoice and every group of invoices.
An invoice that on its own exceeds your usual level triggers an email.
The same happens when several invoices from the same supplier, close together, add up to one large purchase.
What it checks for you
Six checks nobody has time to do by hand
The out-of-scale invoice
A particularly expensive invoice, from an unusual supplier or for an amount far from your normal level, is easy to miss among the rest of the month.
The report spots it and emails you about that single invoice, while there is still time to ask questions.
The large purchase split into many invoices
Many small invoices from the same supplier catch nobody’s eye, even when together they add up to spending you would have wanted to approve.
The report groups invoices issued close together and alerts you when they make up a single significant purchase.

Declared in the VAT return, paid through F24
VAT declared in the quarterly return and not paid is one of the reasons the Agenzia writes.
The report compares each VAT return with the F24 payments made and shows what was due, what was paid and the difference, month by month. In one sample company, February shows up as settled late through ravvedimento, the voluntary correction with a reduced penalty.
Source consistency
770 against F24 cross-check, no divergence beyond tolerance

Withholdings certified and never paid
A withholding certified on an employee’s annual income statement and then never paid is a problem that usually surfaces with a letter.

The report compares the employee statements, the Modello 770 and the F24 payments and flags the mismatch before someone else notices it.

Offsets that do not add up
A credit used in an F24 must match the one the Agenzia has registered.
The report compares the credit register with the credits column of the F24 payments and records every gap, so a gap is cleared up before it becomes a notice.
A drop in tax payments, explained before an algorithm interprets it
Every euro paid less than the year before, if nobody explains it, is read by automated control systems as a signal.
The report breaks the change down into lower revenue, exceptional purchases and a part still to explain, and shows which weighs most.

How can we check the e-invoices an Italian company receives?
They can be viewed one by one in the Agenzia’s “Fatture e Corrispettivi” portal. FiscalPulse reads them all every month, compares them with your usual spending by supplier and category, and emails you when an invoice, or a group of invoices from the same supplier, falls outside the normal pattern.
What is an F24 receipt (quietanza) and where is it?
It is the receipt that confirms a tax payment was made. In the Cassetto Fiscale each F24 appears together with its quietanza, as the amount the State received. The report reads the F24 payments made and compares them with what was declared in the quarterly VAT returns and in the employee income statements.
How can we see an Italian company’s tax debt with the Agenzia delle Entrate?
The report summarises it every month on one page, starting from the Cassetto Fiscale. You find open notices with amount and deadline, payment plans read from the F24 payments with instalments remaining, and VAT arrears declared in section VQ. Demands already passed to the collection agency have their own statement, held by that agency.
Does the automated check replace the accountant or the auditor?
No, it works alongside them. The report is an analytical control tool: it flags gaps and inconsistencies with the source beside them, and the judgement stays with whoever looks after the company. If you wish, your accountant in Italy receives the report in copy and sees the same signals on the same day.
What happens when something does not add up?
You get an email straight away for an out-of-scale invoice or a split purchase, with the document and the amount. Gaps between returns, payments and credits stay in view in the month’s report, with due, paid, difference and each number’s source mark, until the next figure closes them.
