For franchise networks in Italy
A service for your franchisees: each one sees what the tax authorities see, and the network knows in time who needs help.
In a franchise network every franchisee is a company in its own right, with its own accountant, its own deadlines and its own letters from the Agenzia delle Entrate (the Italian Revenue Agency). Every month FiscalPulse reads the Cassetto Fiscale, the company’s tax drawer at the Agenzia, of each franchisee who joins and tells them what matters. The network offers the service to its franchisees, receives half of every subscription and, with each franchisee’s consent, sees in time who is slowing down.

The service renews itself and gives each outlet one more reason to feel the network is on its side.

For the franchisee: idle credits and letters from the Agenzia
The VAT credits and tax credits the outlet has not yet used are added up into a fiscal liquidity reserve.

When the Agenzia writes, the franchisee receives an email with a copy of the letter, the amount and the deadline. If it is an avviso bonario (the Agenzia’s notice of irregularity), paying it within 60 days cuts the penalty to a third.
For the franchisee: card takings and receipts that reconcile
In a shop, takings come through card terminals, electronic receipts (corrispettivi telematici) and e-invoices.

When the Agenzia finds card payments that do not match the receipts transmitted, it sends a letter about card takings. The report reads it and shows the gap month by month, with revenue from receipts and from invoices joined in the same reading.

For the franchisee: the month’s payments, even in the low season

In the months when the shop is quieter, the franchisee sees in time whether takings cover the payments due on the 16th.

The six-dimension tax score, the regularity of payments and the monthly trend of takings tell you in time which outlet is getting into difficulty, while there is still room to support it.
For the franchisee: peace of mind for the person who signs
The sign over the door belongs to the network, while the company and the responsibility belong to the franchisee: if a difficulty is missed, they answer for it, personal assets included.

The report comes on top, and if the franchisee wishes, their accountant receives it in copy: when a letter from the Agenzia appears in the Cassetto Fiscale, both see it and can decide straight away what to do.

Questions
How can a franchisor help franchisees with Italian tax?
By offering them a monthly report read from their company’s Cassetto Fiscale, with letters from the Agenzia, deadlines, credits and takings. Each franchisee chooses whether to join and grants their own read-only access. Their accountant keeps looking after them and, if the franchisee wishes, receives the report in copy.
Does the network see the franchisees’ tax data?
Only for franchisees who choose to share their report with the network. Each franchisee grants access to their own Cassetto Fiscale, read-only, decides who receives the report and can revoke access whenever they want. Without their consent, no data about their company reaches the network.
How much does the network earn by offering the service?
Half of every subscription activated by franchisees, every month, for as long as the franchisee stays subscribed. Production, delivery and regulatory updates are included, and the network does not need to hire anyone to run the service: its team keeps the relationship with the franchisees.
What happens when the Agenzia writes to a franchisee?
The franchisee receives an email the same day, with a copy of the letter, the amount and the date to settle by. A reminder follows before the deadline. If it is an avviso bonario paid within 60 days, the penalty drops to a third.
Does anything need installing in the outlets?
No. Access to the franchisee company’s Cassetto Fiscale is enough, with its own credentials or through a partner accountant appointed for the purpose. No accounting software, till or bank account to connect. Activation takes about half an hour, then the report arrives by email every month, provisional on the 3rd and final on the 18th.
