This 2026 tax credit for hauliers on high diesel prices can only be used to offset other taxes, by 31 December 2026. In the same report you see the F24 payments in which you have already offset credits, code by code, including the diesel excise refund.

Why foreign-market carriers build up VAT credit
Export-linked transport is outside the scope of Italian VAT.

It counts as an international service. Diesel, tolls, maintenance and leasing, on the other hand, are paid with VAT, and the difference becomes a credit that grows every month. The same services count towards becoming an esportatore abituale (habitual exporter) and buying without VAT up to the plafond, the annual ceiling, using dichiarazioni d’intento. The report puts on one page the VAT credit, the dichiarazioni d’intento read from the Cassetto and the VIES status.

Questions
Where is the 2026 hauliers’ tax credit?
According to the published instructions, the diesel credit is credited to the Cassetto Fiscale among the incentive credits. It can only be used to offset taxes through F24, by 31 December 2026. FiscalPulse reads the Cassetto’s credits every month, adds them to the fiscal liquidity reserve and emails you when they are usable, so you use them before they expire.
When must a client pay for a transport job?
Within sixty days of the invoice date, by law. Beyond ninety days the client faces penalties. Payments received do not pass through the Cassetto Fiscale: FiscalPulse tells you which client is reducing the trips invoiced and estimates collection times from the type of invoice. Actual collections are measured with management accounts linked to the bank accounts, on request.
How much do my truck leases weigh?
The report spots monthly repeating payments, such as leases and loans, in the invoices you receive. It sets them next to the F24 payments falling due. It shows the monthly and annual commitment and how much cover remains before and after the instalments, over a horizon that updates every month.
Does it suit a small haulage company?
Yes. From the first month it follows letters, deadlines and tax payments, and it costs €29 a month for companies with up to 2,000 invoices a year. The analyses of clients, margins and sector comparisons grow with the history the report reads from the Cassetto Fiscale. Above 2,000 invoices we prepare a proposal based on volumes.
Do I have to change accountant?
No. Your accountant keeps doing their job and their authorisations stay where they are. You activate the report with the company’s Cassetto Fiscale credentials, or with a partner accountant appointed for read-only access. If you wish, the report reaches them in copy on the same day.
